Stronger Now is a musical duo based in St. Augustine, Florida. Founded by Recording Artists/ Shane Johns and C.J. Winters, the pair blends multiple genres such as Jazz, Blues, and Alternative Rock creating their own unique style of Original Music.
The duo formed as a studio project in 2024 as an extension to Shane's solo career, Shane Johns Project. Stronger Now has decided to take their works to the public after some recent requests from friends and new fans. The duo is a new name though they are both very seasoned artists with over 30 plus years in the business between them.
Stronger Now was branded to reflect on personal hardships they both had separately prior to meeting each other. The name also represents how they have overcome some major obstacles by moving forward with a stronger mindset. The concept of Stronger Now is to take the listener on a musical journey of life, mystery, romance, and more. Shane and C.J. are Advocates of Domestic Violence Awareness and other causes such as Suicide Prevention. Proceeds earned from their music and shows are donated to causes that they believe in.
Shane Johns is a Vocalist, Producer, Songwriter, and a Multi - Instrumentalist. Atlanta, Georgia native, Shane started his music career in Athens, Georgia in 1998. After working and touring with several bands and musicians, Shane started his own label while at the same time formed his solo endeavor, Shane Johns Project. He has achieved many successes in his journey mainly in the Southeast Region of the United States. After 27 years as Shane Johns Project, Shane has turned his focus on new works with Stronger Now along with producing and sound engineering.
C.J. Winters is a Vocalist, Songwriter, and Multi - Instrumentalist. Columbus, Indiana native, C.J. was raised singing in church and played saxophone in school. After college she took a hiatus from music to focus on her career. After meeting Shane Johns, she was inspired to start performing music again. C.J. wears many hats in Stronger Now and plans on continuing to help this project grow.
Stronger Now is honored to be a part of the Artist Community in the St. Augustine region of Florida. The duo is excited to experience their musical journey wherever the Artistic Universe takes them.
